Tarot on Canvas is a joint project that my wife, Abby, and I created together. It was an incredible labor of love that I got to write, design, draw & produce with my love :)
WHAT IS IT?
Tarot on Canvas is a Tarot deck inspired by some of history's greatest paintings. Each of the 78 cards is inspired by a historically significant work of art, re-imagined by Abby and myself in the style of tarot. Each card was carefully chosen to correlate with the Tarot's meaning - searching the details in the work of art or the history surrounding its artist to help tell your story and complete the arc of the Tarot.
Our goal was that this would allow and encourage users to connect with the art on a more personal and spiritual level. It includes a digital guidebook that walks you through the meaning of each tarot card as well as the art history surrounding the work.
